Research

The first piece of research on the Strategic Exploration Simulations comes from over 170 college students who participated in the Sexual Harassment Simulations.  Here's a summary of the results:

  • 98% said the experience was successful or very successful at increasing their learning about sexual harassment.

  • 99% said the experience was successful or very successful at teaching them about "cascade thinking."

  • 98% said they evaluated possible consequences, positive and negative.

  • 96% said they experience input from multiple points of view.

  • 67% said it was "significantly different" from other discussions they've had on similar topics.

  • 21% said it was "dramatically different."

  • 96% saw implications that they would not have thought of on their own.

  • 95% learned something from their teammates.
