Strategic Exploration Cases

Strategic Exploration Cases are based on Joel Barker’s Implications Wheel process.  Starting with detailed background information on a situation or issue, often based on actual organization data, participants contribute to the development of an Implications Wheel that’s been started only by identifying twelve (12) “first-order” implications.

The Implications Wheel, with all twelve “arcs” completed is included as a reference.

The Strategic Explorations Cases require facilitation by a Certified Implications Wheel Trainer.  Sessions typically include pre-work and workshops scheduled for a total of 4-8 hours.
